Participants will be able to assess various forms of ocular inflammatory disease, including ocular cicatricial pemphigoid, masquerade syndromes, scleritis, infectious uveitis, anterior uveitis and drug induced uveitis.
Participants will be able to consider approaches to the work up of uveitis, including various imaging modalities as well as the role of genomic technologies in identification and characterization of infectious and autoimmune causes of ocular inflammation.
Participants will be able to take early action in management upon recognition of these diseases to help avoid permanent complications caused by delay in treatment.
Participants will be able to identify preferred practice patterns for monitoring and treating ocular inflammatory diseases.
Participants will be able to recognize emerging therapies for these diseases and understand how to navigate the insurance system to reduce obstacles to care .
